This role reports into the Director of Process Specialists EMEA/APAC. The primary working location is region Antwerp, but occasional visits to the Test Center in the Brussels region can also be requested in light of larger investment projects. The role is a combination of two main responsibilities, Senior Technician Test Centers and Internal project manager capital investments.

Senior Technician Test Centers

• You will organize and conduct maintenance and calibrations on the GPSC installations and ensure the continuous, good technical operation of these installations.
• You are responsible for the preparation of customer tests (e.g. in the field of installations and products), and also for the disassembly and coordination of the cleaning of the installations after the tests.
• You will assist in a safe working environment in the cleanroom.
• You will assists the “(SENIOR) PROCESS SPECIALIST” at operational level during the tests so that the latter can focus his / her tasks on the process-related part of the tests. To this end, he / she can operate the installations completely autonomously.
• You carry out the necessary administrative tasks such as drawing up spare parts lists, drawing up logs regarding maintenance, etc.
• You are responsible for the stock management of the GPSC (products, consumables and spare parts of the machines).  Routinely ensuring SAP stock levels match what is actually in stock.
• You will technically monitor the installation of new equipment in the GPSC.
• You are responsible for organization and completion of logbooks of actions per machine (repairs, calibrations, yearly maintenance).  Routine reporting to management (i.e. annual reports)
• You are responsible for ensuring the utility supplies to the lab are sufficient to support the activities of the GPSC & responsible for contacting suppliers etc. when required for issues.
• You will follow up on purchases related to GPSC, time to delivery, what's been ordered and what is outstanding.
• You will communicate with GPSC cleaning contractor (Mustafa) for the preparation and clean down of equipment, FAT systems etc.
• You provide feedback of findings / experience with new and current equipment to other departments (feedback on ease of maintenance on coaters as example)
• You are responsible for the preparation of rental equipment in conjunction with process specialist ready for shipment (documents, cleaning, shipping etc.)

The focus of this role would be specifically on the batch granulation equipment, while a colleague would have the main responsibility over the continuous equipment. Of course, during vacation and other absences the candidate is expected to work as a team and backup for the other technologies.

Internal Project Manager Capital Investments

Several large investments are scheduled for the Test Centers. Some of the investments will be coordinated by an internal project manager from the project management team. Other investments (e.g. AHU, vacuum pump, end product handling, etc.) are to be managed by the technical team of the Test Center in collaboration with Director of Process Specialists. A few examples of what this includes:|

 

• You will collaborate with the PM team on local installation requirements.
• You will coordinate with local suppliers and/or ordering local components.
• You will coordinate local installation in collaboration with local teams or local external suppliers.
• You are in charge of the follow-up of the project’s progress with the different stakeholders.
• You will execute internal testing after project completion.
• You will add calibration and maintenance plans of the new equipment to the existing logbook.
